I tried: - Rom manager, but the device is not supported. - the command: flash_image recovery recovery.img, but had an error: 'error closing recovery: no space left on device' althought i have space left. - download Onda v971-v972 recovery.zip which has install-recovery.sh, reboot-recovery.sh and recovery.img in it. Try to instal the zip in recovery mod =>fail, aborted.

Try to instal it manualy, the terminal says 'done' but it always end with the android recovery. Please help, i'm going mad. To go into recovery insert sd card, press Power+Home, remove sd card after green robot appears - and you're into recovery. 'changed between plain white and white with grey lines' means what you used improper ROM which has different video driver. Maybe your tablet is not 971 Dual Core? I lost interest to dual core - working with A31 and RK3188 now, so rarely see dual core posts. But my company sell Amlogic dual core still. Regarding deep sleep - with en05_2013-02-28 extractoSD_971D_jb - I been never informed about such problem.
