The game play is a typical TM resource game and there are hidden treasures to find. I enjoy games with a good pace and where you need to make decisions about resources and upgrading buildings etc and this one works. The level of challenge is good enough if you ensure that you find all the treasures too. It's challenging enough, but no so much that it's frustrating. The storyline assists, but doesn't interfere with gameplay.

But if you find the bonus items, they are gone on replay, so if you didn't meet your time goal because you were busy getting bonus items, now you have time to focus just on the tasks of the level.

The mini-games are different each time. Not always easy. I highly recommend this game!

This is the best TM game they have published in quite some time. The only part I didn't really like were the first 3 mini games (the last one was OK), and the storyline was kind of meh but I skipped through it anyway. Loved the music, graphics, and the challenge of it all.

I wasn't blown away by it, but I usually get this type of strategy game whenever available. After buying and getting further into the game, however, it quickly became one of my very favorites! The developers did a great job of introducing additional types of tasks and buildings one at a time, so you gradually get used to the increased difficulty. Eventually I was able to finish all the regular levels with three stars--a good accomplishment for this granny!
